The HS-221+I system is based on principles of Physics and Biology and generates trains of variable-frequency waves that repel water molecules back into the subsoil and affect insects.

This system counteracts the capillary effect, the physical phenomenon that causes water to rise through the capillary channels present in building materials.

The HS-221+I system emits electromagnetic waves at a frequency matched to the wall thickness, facilitating their propagation through walls and floors. These waves disorient the negative poles of the water molecules and, aided by gravity, cause them to fall back below the foundations.

Additionally, frequencies are generated that cause considerable discomfort to insects, and testing has confirmed that if they cannot flee, they may die within a matter of days.

As a complement to the Insects-Stop it is important to take precautions not to facilitate the entry of insects into our plant or apartment as they are:

• Remove dampness from walls and/or floors whether by rising damp, condensation or filtration.
• Seal the cracks in both the floor and walls to prevent insects from entering from beneath or outside.
• It is advisable to check the received boxes to ensure that no insects enter inside, even though the Insects-Stop will eliminate them in a few days. This aspect is essential in restaurants and bars that receive packaging and food from abroad.
• Place the appropriate stoppers on all drains and seal the covers of the stacks to prevent insects from penetrating
• Check the sealing of bathroom enclosures and outside window and door frames.
• The Insect Stop is not as effective for wood-dwelling insects because wood cushions the effect of the emitted waves. In these cases, the insects must initially be eliminated by traditional chemical methods and from then on, the Insects Stop team will no longer allow the next insects to enter the wood.
• The gestation of their eggs can last for 6 weeks, and cockroach nymphs appear and mutate several times into adulthood. The HS-221+I (Insects) also acts on these cockroach nymphs, which will eliminate them a few days after their appearance. From that time onward, only terrestrial insects can appear from outside.

How to install the HS-221+I (Insects)

The HS-221+I is mounted on the wall like a picture frame, just like the HS-221, but it is important to bear the following points in mind:

• It is advisable to install the HS-221+I directly onto a thick load-bearing wall without plasterboard, timber, ceramic tiles, or marble in between.
• It is important that the back of the unit is in firm contact with the wall without any gaps.
• The most suitable location is on a load-bearing wall that faces the exterior or adjoins a neighbouring property.
• It is preferable to position it approximately 30cm from the floor and within 1m of a power socket.
• It should be placed on a wall that shows signs of damp or is near damp areas.
• If the floor plan is elongated, it is advisable to place it near the area with the most damp. It will dry all walls, even those in other rooms.

The HS-221+I(Insects) is designed to dry walls, eliminate rising damp and repel insects from your home. All these functions do not make installation difficult — quite the opposite. We have designed this product to be easy to install, and in under 3 minutes it will be up and running. Simply follow these 5 steps.

• 1. Find a location near a power socket where you can plug in the HS-221+I (Insects).
• 2. Drill two holes in the wall, 10cm apart, using a 5mm drill bit.
• 3. Insert the wall plugs and fix the screw hooks with a 3mm gap from the wall, to hold the HS-221+I (Insects).
• 4. Hang the HS-221+I (Insects) on the screw hooks.
• 5. Plug the power adaptor into a nearby socket and connect the jack (output connector) to the HS-221+I (Insects).

Once these five simple steps are completed, the green LED will glow faintly, indicating that the device is active, and the red LED will light up, indicating that power is reaching the unit. Your device is now working perfectly. The green LED switches off for 5 minutes every hour.
