How long does it take to notice that the water is softer with CAL-STOP?
It varies between 2 and 3 weeks depending on the amount of lime scale along the water pipe.
After this time it is advisable to clean the water outlets, such as faucets or showers, because the remains of the scale you have removed along the pipes can accumulate there.
The softness of water becomes evident when washing your hair or showering.
Can I install the CAL-STOP myself?
It is easy to install following the instructions in the illustrated manual or video, but if you do not feel safe, one of our technicians can install it.
Where to install the CAL-STOP for maximum efficiency?
The CAL-STOP must be installed after the water meter and after any intermediate tank that accumulates water.
If the pipe is made of technical plastic, you can wrap the cable around that cable to a length indicated in the instruction manual.
If the water inlet pipe is metallic, it is advisable to cut a piece of it and attach a technical plastic pipe where the emitting coil will be installed. This can be done by one of our dealers or a plumber who follows the instructions in the manual.
